James A McCann, devoted husband, father and friend has left an emptiness in the hearts of all that cared for him.

He has left behind his wife Lucila ,daughter Melissa (14) and many friends, all who loved and respected him.

The memorial service was held Saturday, January 12, 2008.  5pm Service.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Thanks to all that came and supported the family. Jim definitely touched many people.

Jim requested to be cremated and his ashes be  divided.

They will be spread at the mouth of the Wallace River, which was one of his favorite fishing holes.

They have also been spread in Sitka, Alaska by his friends this summer during a scheduled fishing trip that he had planned to attend.

The remaining ashes were placed in the Tahoma National Cemetery
Kent, Washington to provide his family a place to visit.  He was very proud of then time that he spent in the Navy.

The Wallace River Memorial was the final ceremony for Jim.  We thank everybody for their efforts to attend the Wallace Ceremony months after his death.  We just needed to wait for good weather so all could be comfortable with the experience.  The majority of his closest friends were there and I'm sure it was appreciated in the hearts of everybody that attended.  I'm sure Jim's passing will be felt by many in the coming years and influence their decisions in times of despair.
